The olympiad takes place in Prague, Malá Strana neighborhood, in the building
of the Czech Sokol called Tyršův dům.
The address is Újezd 42 but there will be a side entrance for the Olympiad from Všehrdova Street.
Access: Due to a construction the tram lines in the streets Újezd and Karmelitská are temporarily out of order. The stop called Újezd (effectively lying in Vítězná street) works however. You can get there by trams No. 6 and 9 from the subway B (yellow) Národní třída or Anděl. Tyršův dům is a five-minute walk away. A little longer walk awaits you in case you come to subway A (green) Malostranská.
Those who land at Ruzyně, the Prague International Airport, take the bus No. 119. Get off at the final stop, transfer to subway A and ride two stops to Malostranská. Most train stations and bus terminals are located close to a subway station. Train, bus or air connection as well as the city transportation timetables can be found at www.jizdnirad.cz.
Should you arrive by car, we recommend that you use one of the cheap "P+R" (park-and-ride) parking lots in outer Prague and transfer to subway. The venue lies in a no-parking zone where parking without a special permit is rather expensive.
Have a look at the great map from subway to Tyršův dům (194 KB), the bird-eye view (81 KB), or find and print the map that best fits your needs at mapy.atlas.cz.
